The hotel's location has to be the best point, set between the entrance to the park & Ranu (a largish town), it has great views (when not clouded over!) of Mount Kinabalu, and the surounding area. This was a most lousy hotel in my life I have ever stayed. Hotel scenery and view was nice and quiet. However, many flies I can see in restaurant. When I took my lunch in Pine restaurant, we were sitted in open area but our seat was under roof. It real a good scenery but many flies were around us.... more

This is a 2-star hotel. It has won many awards, especially for landscaping. We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2007.
