An amazing honeymoonGood location Excellent building and room Compact but complete--you get everything from a Bose radio to a washer/dryer We stayed four super days more
This has to be the best deal in Tokyo. We paid about 115 Yen per night, that's including tax. That's nothing compared to any other hotel that is close to the action like the Oakwood apartment is. Only a short walk to the Shinjuku train, subway, and bus station. The hotel is right near all the action, with tons of... more
Stayed at this property for 8 nights in late March-early April in a 2-bedroom apartment and was really impressed. For far less than we could have paid for a deluxe hotel room, we had a large apartment with a full-size living/dining area, large bedroom, kitchen and amazing bathroom! The second bedroom was compact and there was no second bathroom. All... more
We stayed in Oakwood apartments in April 2008 for 6 nights and it was perfect! We had a studio (for 2) that was rather small (but this is Tokyo!) but it was so well organized and equipped that we enjoyed our stay every minute. Very modern and clean bathroom, very comfortable bed, nice big fla tv, electronic devices, etc, etc.... more
This was a great place to stay! This was the first hotel we stayed at in Japan and it turned out to be one of our favorites. The room was clean and had a washer/dryer and a fridge, plus a comfortable bed and nice bath and toilet area. The room was a class above for the price range - I... more
I don't have much to add from previous reviews. The Hotel/apartment is excellent value. The staff is great (they mailed my lost keys and cell phone back to US). The lounge is fantastic and is even better since you help yourself to a self service bar without costing you an arm and a leg. I can't say enough about properties... more
We stayed here in March 2008. I actually came across this hotel through the trip advisor website. For Tokyo, this hotel is priced at the bargain rate of 120Y per night. At that rate, we were worried that it would be subpar, but were pleasantly surprised at how central and amazing our hotel was. Since it is an apartment style... more
I would strongly recommend these appartments to anyone staying in Tokyo. The building is located in the Shinjuku area. Shinjuku is the business district, where all the high rise buildings are. It is very central and within very easy reach to all the main tourist attractions and direct trains to Narita Airport. The area is flooding with shops and restaurants.... more
We stayed at the Oakwood Apartments for 5 nights from the 13th Feb 08 and it was fantastic. The studio apartment was small but perfectly formed with everything we needed. The piano bar had the most amazing views and was nice and peaceful when we were there so you could relax with a glass of wine and enjoy being in... more
We stayed there for 4 nights and had a great time. There is a private bar at the 32nd floor with a great view over Tokyo. The staff is more than helpful and helped us book our accomodation in Tokashiki. more
