Front desk staff was the epitome of Japanese hospitality, and sufficiently fluent in English. They provided us with very good tourist maps of Tokyo and a diagram of the local Akasaka area to help us find restaurants. The other reviews cover it pretty well. Small clean rooms, very modern with a great multi-head shower and the multi-function bidet toilet seats... more

I'm here right now. It's nice, clean, relatively central, just about big enough (in my single room) & most importantly cheap. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd advise you to at least look into "Shibuya Granbell", a hotel of similar cost and proportions (seemingly not listed on tripadvisor), only a bit trendier and slap bang in Shibuya. I think... more

Pretty good place. The rooms were bigger than I was expecting given all the hype about tiny rooms in Tokyo. The bathroom was large enough, but it was built fishtank style with frosted glass up to about eye height, meaning you can see in from the room. It doesn't pay to be shy. As far as location goes it was... more

After staying with friends in Tokyo we had to spend one nght in a hotel. We wanted somewhere nice, central and inexpensive. Having read the reviews we opted for B Akasaka. It fitted the bill perfectly. Akasaka, primarily a nightlife area, is in the heart of Tokyo. The hotel, in a quiet office cum residential part of Akasaka, is only... more

A friend and I stayed at the B Akasaka for two evenings. This was a great value for the amount we paid ($150 per night for two twins). We were very impressed by how modern the hotel was and all the amenities (refrigerator, flat screen, nice lighting, robes, slippers, awesome coffee, computer in lobby). The rooms were quite small but... more

The rooms are tiny! Having travelled and stayed in hotels around the world, this was the smallest I'd ever seen! Not particularly a bad thing though, the room was extremely clean and very stylish. There was enough space to put 2 medium-large suitcases (after a bit of rearranging!). The lobby is awesome, just like the website photos. There is a... more

I have tested 5 hotels in Tokyo over the past 2 years and this one in my worst experience. First of all you must know that 90% of the taxi drivers do not know where the hotel is located since the name has changed mid 2007 and most drivers know it with its previous name. If you decide to use... more

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is well located between Roppongi, Shibuya and Ginza and is very well designed as well as beautifully kept. The rooms are small but this is no capsule hotel. If you are looking for a base to explore from then this is great but dont' choose it if you are looking to spend lots... more

I think the room is great. The atmosphere is also very good. I am totally agree with most of the review here that their room is very well design. The price is good as well. However, I have a few points to make which are 1: To me the hotel is set up for more of business people. As a... more
