You really could not get a better location - next to Shibuya station which provides hugely easy access to where ever you may want to go in Tokyo and the surrounds, connected to a large shopping mall complete with restaurants, food outlets with everything from Starbucks to Dean & Deluca and pharmacies. Excel Shibuya is situated in the shibuya station which is also connected to Tokyu department store and Mark City, a complex of restaurants and shops. I cannot find anywhere more convenient than staying literally on top of the train tracks. Of course there was the noise factor but it was tolerable. My husband and I stayed here for 2 days... more
