I stayed one night at the Hyatt Tokyo Regency on February 3rd, 2008. Check in was relatively smooth and friendly. I was even upgraded from a standard King room to a View King. The rooms are indeed a bit dated and do need renovation. I would assume the Hyatt group/management do realize this already. The room feels like it's right... more

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. The sound proofing is great. The bathroom is a bit on the small side. Internet is complimentary and a ethernet cord is provided in the drawer. There's a convenient shuttle bus to shinjuku station or you can walk there. The airport limosine bus comes to the hotel and can be reserved at the bell... more

My hubby and I stayed here for two nights recently and found the hotel to be just ok. The rooms are very dated (old furniture & tv) and the bathroom was very small. The rooms have this large gold key to open the door which was odd (rather than the swipe card key system). We were on a Hyatt Gold... more

Three adults stayed here for 2 nights just last week. The hotel itself is in a great location with nightlife, restaurants and shopping very close by. If arriving on the subway, make sure you get actual directions to bus stop number 35 (the hotel shuttle bus), or else you will get lost. We did and its very confusing. This is... more

I stayed in this hotel several nights before I found an apartment in Tokyo. Room size is large in Tokyo standard, but the hotel is fairly old looking in the European Renaissance style. I personally prefer modern looking and zen style's hotels. It is an average hotel with nothing special. There is a regular shuttle bus to the Shinjuku station... more

All I can say about this hotel, it is nice place to stay. Hyatt Regency Tokyo is the best hotel I've been to so far. They got a free shuttle to the take you to a nearest tube station so you don't need to walk / get a cab to the tube station.I love the view from my room which... more

We spent three nights at the Century Hyatt in August, having booked through the hotel website and having selected one of their club level rooms. We were very happy with the quality of the room, which offered all the amenities one would expect of a hotel of this type, and had a nice outlook over the Shinjuku park. Most importantly,... more

Hyatt Regency Tokyo has been known as Century Hyatt Tokyo. We stayed one night to dine at Michel Troisgros French restaurant. The dinner was superb! But our guest room, which has been renovated, was average. more

This hotel is being renamed to Regency Hyatt Tokyo (starting Nov 2007). We've booked this hotel via Asiaroom.com (great prices) We stayed in it for a week at he end of August and loved every minute of it. When booking, we've requested possible upgrade to a king-bed-size room and got it without a problem. It also meant that the room... more

I recently stayed at the Century Hyatt, sharing a room with my 17 year old daughter. The room was a bit on the small side, and amenities nice but nothing special. However, the location right at Shinjuku Park, across the street from a subway station, and a short walk to the huge Shinjuku station, was great as a home base... more
