We found this place when looking at hotels in the Nikko region. We weren't sure if we wanted to make the effort to go off the beaten track but in the end did. I am so glad we did. What an amazing place to stay. This is a 5 star Ryokan and a real traditional experience. We were shocked and... more

I guess I will be the first one to review this hotel :) My husband and I stayed at this property in July 2008.
