I was arriving into Tokyo at about 6 and needed a place for the night before taking the train to Osaka. I booked one night at this hotel through hotels.com and paid about $80. It's classed as an airport hotel although it's in the town of Narita. There is a shuttle or you can also conveniently take either the JR... more

We stayed in this hotel, as it gives discounts to Air France staff (which I am) and because it was near enough to the airport, and also in Narita town, so convenient to visit the town. The JR train staion is right next door, so it's also very easy to get into Tokyo, although we decided to just visit Narita... more

This hotel is fantastic value for money. It is within minutes of Narita's JR station which runs a very efficient service to Tokyo taking about 1 hour. Narita temple is within walking distance and is a must see as it is so beautiful. There is also Aeon shopping Mall which takes about 10 mins to get to by bus which... more

This Hotel is well situated close enough to airport to be of easy access but in Narita town away from airport complex so gives a range of other activities and restaurant options. The hotel provides a shuttle from/to airport about every half hour during the day. You can also very easily get between airport and hotel by taking JR line... more

At 13700 a double room, this place is no bargain, but it is so convenient to those wanting to stay not too far from NARITA. The MERCURE offers not very frequent courtesy shuttle to and from NARITA. Roughly 2 per hour. It is not necessary to reserve, but keep in mind it takes a big half an hour in the... more

We had chosen to stay in this hotel because of its undeniably superb location for travel in and around Narita - it is sandwiched between two major train stations. The room was pretty standard though, and in our opinion in need of refurbishment. On the whole, the stay was okay if not for an unpleasant experience when we checked out... more

We booked the Mercure through our travel agent--but only after reading the comments about it on TripAdvisor. We were delighted with our choice! What we enjoyed was walking around the traditional town of Narita for the day before our plane left. We found the most reasonable prices in Japan for traditional shopping. I did make one mistake--taking a taxi from... more

We chose the Mercure because it was close to Narita station (both of them, in fact). We were able to catch the train from the airport (1 stop from the airport), and then continue on to Tokyo on the train the next afternoon. We didn't want to have to wait for shuttle buses. Being close to the station, the Mercure... more

I just needed a place to crash before my AM flight out of Narita. This had a good rate for single travelers and a free shuttle service to the airport. It also turned out to be super-close to the rail station (but I took the Narita express from Tokyo and just caught the shuttle service from Narita Intl to the... more

Arrived at Narita airport and found the free Mercure Narita shuttle bus (minivan) easily enough with the help from an airport staff member. Check-in was fast and I was allocated a non-smoking room in the second tower which meant a minor amount of initial navigation up one elevator, a short walk then up one more elevator, but it really wasn't... more
