We stayed here in Sept '07 booking through Thomson. The hotel may be basic (options are available to upgrade), but it is clean, friendly and completely relaxing! Kalkan certainly isn't the 'real' Turkey- it's is more cosmopolitain than other resorts we have stayed in- Side, Hisarou, Altinkium. If a first timer to Turkey I would certainly reconmend Kalkan.
