I was there back on may this year ,but that´s really disaster plus inconvenient at all. The bathroom dirty dark,stains on everything believe me u wont touch the tab with your naked hand. the bed itself not much better old and noisy.the tv just about the same and u can only watch 1 local program but the do offered u... more

The Bumiminang apparently used to be the best hotel in Padang. We heard from locals that it is now the 2nd best and higher priced than its superior neighbour, the Ambacang, but we had already paid. We surely hope Padang has better to offer than this decayed place Bumiminang. Check-in took ages with staff who seemed not to be familiar... more

The Bumi Minang hotel is the best hotel in the provinces West-Sumatera and Riau. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The swimming pool is fairly large, but the beer and other drinks are above average priced. The rooms are reasonably tidy, but the bathrooms could be better and show wear of about 20 years not to well maintenance. Th... more
