We stayed at the Padma in February 2005, quite a while ago now. We spent 10 nights in a garden deluxe chalet and it was worth every cent. The room was a good size, the bathroom was huge with a rain shower and separate bath. In the evenings we had cocktails as part of the package at the lounge area... more

Having just returned after 10 wonderful days in Bali, I would recommend you give the Padma a try. We found the hotel clean & the proximity to all the shopping great. The staff could not do enough for us. Having taken our 2 children 10 & 14, it was great for them to be able to go down to the... more

My husband and I stayed at the Padma for a week after a stop off in Hong Kong. This was our first visit to Bali and we didn't really know what to expect but overall, we had a good stay at the Padma. On arrival we were told there was a problem and that our garden club room was not... more

I booked the Padma in April, for a group of 3 ladies and myself, intending to have a pampered stay with lots of R&R. I was totally blown away with this wonderful hotel and it's friendly, helpful staff! The staff went out of their way to help, at any possible opportunity. This was also evident on our last day, when... more

I have been to Bali 6 times and would not stay anywhere else but the Padma. It is a shame that people have one bad experience and then rip the hotel to shreds. I have also on one occasion had a problem with my room not being ready but we just had to wait for a couple of hours and... more

We stayed at the Padma Bali for 6 nights, it was meant to be the 'luxury beginning' of our 4 week backpacking tour of Indonesia. We decided that we'd go 5 star at the beginning to get our energies up before roughing it for the next 4 weeks. We'd booked a Deluxe Chalet Room (US$150/night on the internet). Unfortunately, whilst... more

Good location on the beach of Kuta. The place has a great feel and provides a nice ambiance with goldfish ponds and flora. The rooms, especially the villas are nice and the breakfast villa is a plus (try the banana pancakes). The price was good and the staff were helpful. On the down side, the room equipment seemed to be... more

What a hotel! I have been to Bali four other times and always stayed in Sanur, but this time I went alone - so for a single girl I thought it would be safer to stay within walking distance of the shopping and nightlife - and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is magnificent - the staff are so friendly and... more

Using TripAdvisor & Lonely Planet we put together a 2 week itinerary in Bali: 3 nights at Padma Hotel in Legian / Kuta, 4 nights at Tegal Sari in Ubud, 3 nights at Puri Santrian in Sanur, and 3 nights at the Intercontinental in Jimbaran. I would recommend this mix of stops in a 2 week visit to Bali. I've... more

Husband and I went to the Padma Hotel in Bali for 8 days at the end of March 2008. I've stayed at the Padma before in September 2005. This is the 6th time in Bali for both of us. Stayed in a deluxe room on the 2nd floor. A bit disappointed that our room was not ready on arrival but... more
