My boyfriend and I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Intercontinental hotel and absolutely loved it. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they work tirelessly in the sweltering heat and are always cheerful. There are waiters who bring you your all inclusive drinks to your sunbeds by the pool and on the beach!... more

This hotel and location are everything they say they are but not a 5 star. I'd say they've been given an extra star for the golf course and Spa facilities which never seemed to be used. It’s very nice and on the whole, clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful with a sound understanding of English and I'm certain... more

According to standards in most European conutries nowadays this is a four star not a five star. But it is a very good four stars at that, and you really get what you pay for, we paid only 850 euros all in for two weeks! Pros: + firendly personel (tip them a bit and they will be friendlier than friendly,... more

I found Housekeeper1 and Woodhouse35 rating very low compared to my own experience. Surely we are meant to be rating the hotel itself rather than the flight operator - yes, I was cramped in my cattle class seat, yes, the flight was delayed both ways and yes - the IFE and meal was not good. Also, yes, we were both... more

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the Intercontinental Hotel at Taba Heights - 10th June 2008 -24 June 2008. Both my wife and I found the hotel, staff and amenaties first rate. I have read many reports over the last 3-4 months regarding food quality, waiting for tables at the restaurants, waiting for drinks at the... more

We stayed here for a week in June and although the hotel is nice there are too many things that let it down. This is not really an all inclusive hotel but a full board with drinks. We were always worried that we would have a big bill at the end of the week and so could not really enjoy... more

Stayed at the Intercontinental from 3 to 17 June 08. We booked with Thompson’s and flew with First Choice from Manchester. As this length of flight is deemed to be short haul I squeezed into the Boeing cattle truck and prepared to lose the use of my legs. We took off an hour late for no apparent reason and then... more

We arrived at the hotel, after a very dodgy flight with first choice, the usual cramp you all in airline, our bus broke down on the way from the airport, but after half an hour a man came and fixed it. got to the hotel which is stunning, our room was on the ground floor so we had no view... more

After reading some recent reviews we were quite worried about returning to the Intercontinental Hotel at Taba but please read on as we feel that the negative comments are very unfair on this hotel. We booked with Longwood Travel and as this was our second visit (last Aug) we were upgraded to a sea view room which was lovely looking... more

I went with my wife and 8 month old daughter to Taba Heights from Aqaba Jordan by the ferry. It was a good two nights trip away from the city. We stayed at the Intercontinental, a less than two years old hotel. Checking in was qiuck, the room was spacious and beautiful. The swimming pools were greate and clean. Not... more
