Stayed here for New Year and had a really great time. We weren't here for the entertainment but for the diving and the Extra Divers centre was very good. We only came across one other couple who was British, but the Egyptians were ecstatic to meet you when they realised you weren't German. One of the better all inclusives we've... more
This hotel was a fantastic facility to get away from it all. It was immaculately kept, rooms cleaned everyday, gardens attended to constantly and all public areas neat, tidy and clean. This hotel would be great for families and couples. We (my husband and I) went with another couple and although I wouldn't recommend it for those who like to keep... more

The rooms were amazing, the food diverse and the snorkeling, beach and pools great. No... more

We stayed at the Makadi Oasis for one week in Feb 2006. The weather was ideal for the time of year, the enormous pools were heated and there was the right balance of guests (i.e. no reserving sunbeds, no dinner queues, no one pushing in at the bar). Most of the guests are German or Russian, no problem with these... more
On arrival at Hurghada Airport we then had to have a coach to our hotel which took approx 40 mins, whilst we were travelling we went through a security check point with police/guards with firearms, we began to get apprehensive about our stay at Makadi Oasis, slightly further on, we then saw barren landscapes and were beginning to think what... more
