This is a very clean, well-appointed hotel. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were soft and inviting. The air-conditioning only works when you have your room key card in the door slot. stayed for 3 nights, most comfortable bed I have had in china (mattress wasn't rock hard), rooms a little small if you need to add extra bed, excellent service from staff with adequate english, buffet breakfast had a good selection of chinese and western food. a little out of town but only a RMB7 taxi ride to main shopping centre.... more

Tienfu Sunshine, the new name of the former Amara Hotel, is about 10 minutes walk from two major shopping areas. Coming by taxi, it is a little hard to find however.
