We were a little aprehensive before we left home having read a few bad reviews but have to say we needn't have been. The hotel was spotless, rooms were a good size, and the maid kept them clean and towels and bed linen regularly changed. Had the best holiday ever! I stayed for two weeks at The Maharba Royal Salem which was excellent. It is made up of 3 hotels, make sure you stay in the main hotel as the accomadation there is much nicer.
