This is a great property for families. Though the pool is small it is sufficient. Service for breakfast was fast and friendly. Big rooms a plus more

We were in town for a wedding. I did not like Auburn Maine but the hotel stay was pleasant. The quality was as good as any Hilton Garden, bright, clean, and friendly staff. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and linens. Breakfast was a bit pricy. more

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful waterfall next to the hotel was an unexpected surprise. Not to far of a drive from Portland and Freeport, and at a much more reasonable price. Did the Bed and Breakfast package which was a great deal and great meal for our family. Food was a full breakfast and well worth it. Parking was... more

Have stayed here three times and each was pleasant. Latest room was clean, nicely furnished with a comfy chair and lovely view of river and waterfall. Very quiet on 2nd floor despite large wedding party on first . Breakfast was excellent with a hot buffet, cooked to order egg dishes, oatmeal, etc. (cost $10 for full buffet unless you get... more

After staying in other (very disappointing) hotels in this area, the Hilton is a breath of fresh air! We were dropping our daughter off at Bates and needed a place to stay for the night. The hotels Bates recommended were pretty bad... The Hilton was bright, light, and had great views! It was a little pricy (I think around $145... more

I stayed here during a work trip to Bates College just across the river in Lewiston for a few days in August. This is a nice hotel, probably the best in town, which was clean and efficient, if a little pricey. The towns of Lewiston and Auburn are not exactly tourist attractions, so if you are staying here, you are... more

This is a comfortable, well-located place to stay in Auburn. It is quite clean, bright and cheerful, and the riverfront location is impressive. We found it to be the most convenient place to stay while visiting our children at summer camp. There are excellent fresh-baked cookies at the front desk in the evening, too. more

I really like the Hilton Garden Inn brand and especially like the one in Auburn. Unlike previous reviewers, I found my rooms (I've stayed three times so far) to always be spotlessly clean and most importantly, very quiet (I'm a super light sleeper). The restaurant downstairs is such a convenience at breakfast time. I ate dinner there one night and... more

This is a bright, clean hotel with nice views of the waterfall. Sure it's kind of cookie-cutter, but it's also definitely the best place to stay in the area. It's no resort but it does have a nice pool, exercise room, and decent restaurant. We've stayed here twice and will return. Staff very friendly and helpful. In all a very... more

pity with all the money spent here they cannot be more original. the decoration and food could be improved easily... the chef is up to it; and why all the vulgar front entrance decoration? this place has no character. However the advantages are it is very convenient location wise and the staff at front desk are very very polite and... more
