I've been in wondeful sarajevo last week and stayed at halvat. The hotel is fine and clean. 2 defects :no credit card accepted and no air conditioning. All girls that are working in the place are super helpful and nice but one who was pretty hauty with me which left me an unpleasant taste at the end. more

We felt very welcome and at home. Valida and her staff were wonderful and very accomodating. Breakfast was exceptional and the room perfect for our needs. The view from the window overlooking the old town and hillsides were beautiful. We will come again. more

We were going to sarajevo for a coupe of days from Medujorge. We took the bus and our friend took us to the Halvat house. The woman there was lovely. We weren't able to stay in one of their actual rooms, but we did stay at a room which was about two blocks away, at more private quarters, I guess... more
