I purposely chose a hotel that's not too smack on Orchard Road but still convenient to get to the MTR. Went to Singapore for a 3-day conference, which was at the Raffles Convention Center. Bayview Hotel was only 3 blocks away, and I saved a bundle in lodging costs vs. staying at Raffles. Easy to get around, and had a great time in the city. Staff was pleasant. Breakfast buffet every morning was good - Not one complaint. more
