Seamless, smooth and gracious! These are the qualities of both the Hotel and the staff. I had a great 3 nights stop over on my way to Australia, I truly recommend this Hotel. more

Stayed at this property several times when it was the Raffles Plaza, and was a little concerned to read on TripAdvisor that since converting to a Fairmont, the level of attention and service had deteriorated. Not at all true, in my opinion. Still the same high quality of service and amenities. Towels refreshed twice a day, bathroom amenities replenished, etc.... more
It was probably inevitable after successive climates of Dubai, Egypt and Venice that the "slight cold" would develop into bronchial asthma. So if you had a choice of where to stay in bed, then reading books, watching movies and staring at at the ceaseless Singapore City from the 14th floor was pretty good. Essentially, apart from breakfast by the pool... more
The I.M Pei designed hotel is reminiscent of the Four Seasons hotel in New York. We were graciously checked in by Karen, who informed us that our travel agent had booked a two-bedded room. When I explained that we were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and that a king sized bed would be more appropriate, she immediately congratulated us,... more
I stayed 5 nights in April 2008 at the Fairmont for a conference in the Raffles City Convention center. The overall experience was nice. Check In Check in was fairly slow, but this was my first time to the hotel so they had no guest history, and they did upgrade me to a Raffles Inc. room. Room The room I... more
I stayed at the Fairmount in December 07 during 7 nights. Halfway through the week, it went from being called the Raffles Plaza to become the Fairmount. I stayed on the Raffles Inc. floor (25th or 26th floor) in the North Tower. It was a huge corner room with big 2 big balconies (1 towards CHIJMES and the other towards... more
We visited Singapore and were after a hotel with 3 things; Great Location, a good swiming pool and luxury. This hotel delievered all of these things and more. We were surprised at how nice the rooms were, one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Toiletries were lovely. The pools were good for a 'city' hotel and our... more
The Fairmont Singapore is formally Raffles Plaza. Now that it is the Fairmont you would expect great service and that is what you will get. We stayed 3 days on the 11th floor over looking the city and harbour and it was great. From the ease for check in on arrival to the late check out we needed to catch... more
the hotel is nice almost brand new service is not that good front desk staff is a little dissapointing, delayed answers Rooms are smalls. we ask for a rooms with intercommunications (since we have childs), they preconfirm, but we get opposite rooms in the same floor, Do not expect too much, is like any JWmarriot (Asia version) 8th floor Pool... more
This is a huge hotel, linked to the Swissotel next door. The lobby has just been refurbed and is impressive. Unfortunately, it is effectively two hotels in one, the North tower and the South tower. The North tower (I am there now) is depressing and faded, with stained acrylic carpets, chipped sanitary ware and drab decor. The bed is really... more
