I stayed at Marina Mandarin from 14 April -16 April on the Eleventh Floor. The room was outdated and filthy with stains on the carpet and walls, mold in the shower and bathroom, and handprints on the headboard. I also missed valuable time to meet with business colleagues to discuss future business because one of phone operators told business colleagues... more

We visited the Marina Mandarin for two nights in March 2008 on our way to Australia. After a long flight, we arrived at the Marina Mandarin and from the moment we arrived our whole experience could not have been better. Staff were fantastic with impecable service ranging from the concierge to the receptionist. They could not do enough to make... more

We stayed for 4 nights in early April with our 3 year old daughter. The room was spacious and clean, but the hotel is not really suitable for families with young children. We found it too 'clinical' and in the very quiet atmosphere, our daughter's excited behaviour was frowned upon. Constantly felt that we had to make sure she was... more

Request for a high floor room was ignored. Single glazed windows meant that we had unacceptable levels of traffic noise. Added to this was a really annoying water hammer from the plumbing, making sleep almost impossible. Room rate (GBP 150 per night) did not include breakfast. Carpet in room was covered in stains. Receptionist did not tell us about using... more

one of the nicest places i've ever been to. the rooms are pretty big, there is wireless internet connection and the bathroom is a blast. important: you don't wait long for the elevator and safe because you can only go up if you enter your room key card. if you go there, you have to have breakfast there at least... more

The hotel, staff, location, facilities all great BUT I couldn't stand the loud (although nice) music from the piano bar wafting straight into my bedroom and we were 14 floors up! If you are a light sleeper you won't like this place. The gym was good, pool nice, location fine, breakfast yum, staff helpful and efficient if the music at... more

Having read all the recent reviews regarding the service and noise I was a little apprehensive regarding our stay. It was our first visit to Singapore and we had planned a 3 night stop over on our way to Oz. On arrival, any concern I had quickly vanished. From the moment we arrived the service we received was impeccable -... more

At check-in the staff were gracious and helpful. We loved our rooms (family with 2 children) one had a King sized bed and the other had 2 singles. Breakfast was buffet style and would satisfy the fussiest of eaters - the range of multi-cultural foods was amazing! The swimming pool was fantastic and very exotic! A welcome relief from the... more

Nice hotel with very convenient location as several shopping centers are connected to it, plus access to the convention center which is located across the street. Nice rooms, but surprisingly a little noisy. I was on the 17th floor and I can hear the traffic in the morning. The only other surprise is that on the first night there was... more

Stopped off at this hotel for 3 nights en route to Australia. Was recommended by our travel agent and a good value deal to boot. We stayed in an Executive floor room. Theseoccupy the top 2 floors of the hotel. Separate check-in desk at Reception followed an individual guided tour of facilities by a member of staff dressed in traditional... more
