A business associate and I stayed at the Yu Yang in March '06--and found the experience to be quite good. Room decor is a bit dated, but clean, spacious, and comfortable. A Chinese travel agent put our small conference in this dreadful hotel Worn and dirty it was very depressing. The worst part is that the conference paid very high rates because the American Chinese travel agent used a Mainland Chinese travel agent who also added a huge fee.
