I spent two weeks at this hostel in Downtown Cairo, and really enjoyed my stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff was very professional yet personal and friendly. They can arrange tours for you if you desire. If not, they will not hassle you and will even give you advice as to how to approach trips on your own.... more

We were a little disappointed in this hostel/hotel in downtown Cairo after reading some great reviews. The location is great for sightseeing but it is next door to a mosque so expect an early morning wake-up. The hotel was clean but very basic and we did not receive towels. Likewise the breakfast was very basic. Compared to other budget hotels... more
