I did not stay in this hotel so I can't comment on the rooms, but I did have breakfast there every morning and used the spa several times a week. The spa is SO incredible! I couldn't get enough of it. When you first check in, there is a small but very nice/professional check-in area. When you enter the locker... more

IP, WOW, Where do I begin. Good location. But everything else about the hotel was a huge disappointment.. You suck in exhaust fumes in the underneath pick-up/drop-off area. As soon as you open the front doors you get barreled by cigarette smoke. Hope you have alot of time to waste because waiting and riding the elevators can take upwards of... more

The Imperial Palace (formerly the Amiga Hotel) is, overall, an excellent value in one of the more expensive cities in Asia. The deluxe rooms (which do not cost much more than a standard room) are large and comfortable, and might be the best-appointed of any hotel that I have visited in Asia. They are also a little too-well heated for... more

Just finished a 4 day business trip in Seoul and found the Imperial Palace to be in the Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton class. Rooms were small as expected. Bath was refurbished but nicely appointed with mirrored shower and granite counters. wide LCD panal TV was better than I have at home. Best thing is the gym. Includes a lap pool... more

On my recent travel with friends to the Amiga Hotel, the renovation was complete and the lobby was beautiful. The beds were definitely smaller than expected but comfortable. The one good thing about this hotel is that the staff is terrific. They are professional and courteous and really made sure that our stay was as comfortable. The chinese restaurant there... more

When we made reservations to stay at the Amiga Hotel, no one informed us of the current construction project at the hotel. We discovered it on our own when we first entered the hotel room on a Saturday evening, opened the window, and were greeted by the sounds of chainsaws and heavy machinery. At this point we probably should have... more

Stayed here for three nights in August, 2004. Smallish hotel with a nice lobby. Good restaurants nearby (hotel restaurants are not great). Advertises as a deluxe hotel but certainly not close to the Westin Chosun or the Hyatt, both of which I have stayed at. Rooms are small but well furnished. Currently undergoing extensive construction which is both noisy and... more
