There are really no negatives about this hotel. Thanks to all those earlier reviews who mentioned the noise level on the 11th floor. That was a great tip. It would definitely have been noisy with the comings and goings to the restaurant and gym. Rooms were large and clean. Breakfast more than adequate. Location great. Near local markets and small... more

Great position for looking around Saigon. The rooms are very clean with tiled floors and a very big bathroom witha bath. We had a room with a parkview which was very ncie and recommended. Breakfast on the top floor great. Friendly helpful people on the desk - the doorman even helps you get across the road - yes it is... more

What a great little Hotel. Have stayed here in September / October 2008. The Staff are brilliant from the Door Boys, who will guide you across the busy Saigon Street, the Reception Staff, Housekeeping and Restaurant staff. The Hotel is a credit to owners/managers Dianna & John. Rooms are well appointed clean and compact. All facilities in several rooms we... more

When we arrived our room had no windows. They were very accommodating in relocating us. The door attendants lways responded quickly to our departures and arrivals, assisting us when they could see we required it. When my mother broke her hand they could not have been more wonderful. We decided to rebook for our return from Cambodia. They welcomed us... more

Me and my girlfriends are pretty happy with the services provided by Elios Hotel throughout the 4days 3 nights stay. First day at HCMC, we are horrified by the traffic condition while in the cab heading to Elios Hotel. Never to our expectation, the helpful service staff have already standby at the opposite side of the road. They assisted us... more

This hotel is great, good location slap bang in the middle of the 1st district backpacker area BUT still very quiet to traffic noise in the rooms. friendly staff (which often is not always the case in larger hotels where it can become inpersonal) . Great variety at breakfast & the resturant food for lunch/dinner is good as we had... more

Saigon was the hardest place in Vietnam for me to choose a hotel. I wanted to find a really cheap place, nearish to the nightlife and markets in district one - probably the same basic criteria as lots of first time visitors, but the really cheap ones don't have lifts, which was something important to us. Eventually, we paid more... more

Elios is centrally located in an area where there is plenty of shopping and options for eating. It is a short walk to the Ben Thanh market and walking distance to the upmarket centre of town. There are some good little shops and lots of tour booking offices in this area also. The hotel is relatively new, the rooms are modest... more
