reno hotel the only reason i will reccomend reno is for its location - a bridge away from MBK. roaches were crawling all over, and when i complaint, the staff gave me a can of instecticite as a solution. stayed twice before, both times becuz of location.. tried the basic rm and the deluxe, no difference except for the TV... more

Stayed here on our return to Bangkok, previously having stayed off the manic Khao San Rd. If you are looking for peace and quiet, but a great location - very close to skytrain and MBK, plus shopping centres, (and Jim Thompson's house is in the next street) then stay here. Our room was slightly dated but had a comfortable bed... more

The Reno Hotel cannot be beat for the money. Great location, great swimming pool, most of the rooms are now remodeled (12/2007). Food is very good and if you do not like it eat on the street or at MBK. The location is so central (no one else has mentioned the "water taxis" under Suphan Hua-Hin yet) and the soi... more

The location is excellent; and the room rate is reasonable. It is very near the the Skytrain station and the MBK shopping mall. That's about it. The staff were not very friendly and always looked unhappy. The breakfast was very basic and I had better food at the food stalls across the lane. more

Great Location for shopping but that is all. Staff unprofessional, rooms like a hostel. Bugs. no hairdryer. We only stayed for 1 night, if it wasn't our last night we would have moved hotels but we just needed a bed and we were tired. Would recommend The Salil Hotel instead, Breakfast Ok, again snappy staff. After a month travelling in... more

Reno is our preferred stay in Bangkok. Not because of the hotel, but the street it is located: Soi Kasem San 1 is the spot to stay. Dirty, smelly, little streat, but with 50m to the best shopping mall in Bangkok and the Skytrain, you just cant comlain. They hotel has the worst breakfast restaurant. The employees are unhappy, dont... more

Reno hotel is very well located if you want to stay in the shopping mall area. It's very close to skytrain(National Stadium), bus stops and MBK. We paid 1180 Baht/night which is relatively cheap in this area. I like the hotel for it's value and location but I do have some problems with it. 1. We saw 2 cockroaches crawling... more

We stayed 3 nights in Nov 2007 at Reno Hotel. We booked the Deluxe Poolside Room becausewe read in a different review that those rooms are the most quiet. the room didn't look like the pictures on the hotel's website, but it was comfortable. Linen were clean with a very comfortable matress and pillows.private bathroom with shower/bath with hot water.... more
