Stayed for 4 nights in an interior facing king. Upon arrival the doormen were totally overwhelmed and we had to drag our bags from the kerb to the front desk right ourselves right past the bell desk where again no one offered assistance. Long line to check so I did the kiosk check in which worked out OK. Then dragged... more

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Grand Hyatt in Washington DC. It was baseball weekend for our family and I looked for lodging that would allow easy access to the Metro. At the last minute we found our daughter would be able to join us. I requested two double/queen beds instead of a king but was told that... more

We loved the location of the hotel and when we chose not to walk, the metro was accessed without going outside. In our experience, the staff was very accomodating. This was a good thing as we had two rooms and 12th floor lounge privileges and during our 9 day stay we were continually having our card keys reactivated accurately. Our... more

The hotel is located in a great section of town for sightseeing and is conveniently located on top of a Metro stop. The room was clean but lacks a seperate 'getting ready' area outside the bathroom. The room also does not have a DVD player, it seems that this is becoming more and more common but I'm sure they want... more

We have just returned from a 9 day stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The property has a very nice location, walking distance to the Metro, and the atrium is quite stunning. Upside: 1) Centrally located to everything in DC, either by foot, Metro, or rental car. 2) Front Desk Staff was always helpful, and efficient, so there were rarely... more

I enjoyed my stay and will be back. The place didn't feel crowded even while it was full for conventions during my stay, the staff remained friendly and helpfull,... more

Stayed here for a conference with a couple extra days for personal. Was within easy walking distance of the National Mall area, Chinatown, etc. Great conference facility. Didn't take too long to find my way around the property. Room was very comfortable and bed was comfy. Metro is located within the complex. Don't even have to go outside to catch... more

My family and I stayed for a week. Very comfortable, very clean with responsive service. Knew our names by the time we left. Quite convenient to tourist areas and very close metro a big plus. Excellent bellmen. Restaurant quite good, but other good restaurants within one block good too. more

This is a great hotel. The location was the best in DC, you could walk to everything. The room was small but very clean and the beds were great. We stayed there 5 nights with two kids and we had one of the best vacations we have ever had, The hotel resturants are not very kid friendly but there are... more

I was in DC for just a night this past weekend. Check in was very easy. The staff was very helpful with all of my questions about the area. I believe the woman's name that checked me in was Diana. She was very professional. If you drive there ask for valet parking. It is $26 for a night. If you... more
