Despite poor reviews, we still went ahead and booked the Aanuka Resort. It could be an excellent resort as the landscaping, pools and restaurant setting are just gorgeous. We stayed 11 nights in the four bedroom villa at Aanuka in November. On arrival we were impressed by the beautiful landscaping and stunning views of the ocean. Aanuka was a huge dissapointment for me - we stayed in the self contained apartment/villas which were serviceable, but outdated and we got a headache from the disinfectant.
