The whole journey around Mexico was fascinating, interesting and beautifull but demanding for Europeans because of different climate, weather changes and really busy program for a short time. So, at the end we felt tired and when we arrived to your resort, it was like heaven. We enjoyed your hospitality in unique settings of Rancho Sak Ol which is an... more

We loved our stay at this charming little B&B. People who expect lots of amenities should look elsewhere. But those who like a beautiful, secluded location will be delighted. Rooms are very simple; some have a/c, some have fans. The beds hang from ropes in the ceiling, creating a gentle sway when you lie down, and towels are artfully displayed... more

Rancho Sak-Ol is a very nice place to stay... The people are very friendly and the property is very beautiful. We stayed in Room 13, We think it was the best room in the whole place. The biggest downside to Rancho Sak-Ol was not having airconditioning, however, the ocean breeze came right in an kept us cool all the time.... more

We travelled around in Mexico for about 20 days from Cancun to Mexico D.F. Rancho was one of the best places and we´ll keep it in mind, if we go to mexico again. We stayed there at last for 5 days. Very friendly and helpfull owners and staff. Not to forget Luna, the peacefull and lacy dog. Great breakfast every... more

My boyfriend and I rented the junior suite at Rancho for two nights when we arrived with a late flight to Cancun. We had room 13 when we came back from Tulum and surroundings at the end of the trip. Rancho was touched by Hurricane and rebuilt without showing... This place is great transition place! We were welcomed by the... more

We chose Rancho because we were looking for a quiet beach vacation to recover from weeks of intense work. The reviews on tripadvisor were great, so we went with the recommendations and we were not sorry! What an awesome place. We arrived and took a short 25 minute taxi rise from the Cancun airport to the hotel. The couple who... more

Me and my fiancé stayed here in early May of 2007 and absolutely loved our stay. Since we were there after Easter, the hotel and the town itself had little tourists around and we felt we had everything to ourselves. We loved our upstairs room that had a beautiful view of the Caribbean and hammocks to lounge in. The hotel... more

After arriving at the Cancun airport, we headed straight to Rancho Sak Ol for our first night. Rancho is an excellent little hotel- so glad we found out about it through this web site. Rooms are super clean, staff are super friendly, and the breakfast is wonderful! Love the swinging beds and hammocks on the balcony. We stayed here another... more

So chuffed when the taxi pulled up, it is absolutely idyllic. And it just got better. Room was perfect; spacious, clean and fulfilled all imaginings of a tropical paradise. There was a beautiful view, with hammocks to laze in on our private balcony. the suspended, swinging bed lulled us to sleep. We went for an upstairs room without AC, but... more

Rancho Sak Ol is a relaxing and unique bed and breakfast. The town of Puerto Morales is a relatively quiet low key fishing village, which is a welcome change from the highly developed towns of Cancun and Playa del Carmen. The snorkeling at the coral reefs around Puerto Morales is said to be perhaps the best in the Yucatan. Rancho... more
