We originally booked to stay at some horrible 'Costa Pontins' at San Eloy - MedPlaya (Don't go there!). We checked straight out and drove around to find somewhere to stay. Stayed here for a week at the end of August. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful although we had asked for a double bed and on arrival were told that they have none! mmm. The hotel was very basic but it was handy after a hard long day at the beach. Very basic rooms with poor facilities, only one plug socket in the room and one in the bathroom. Shower didnt work properly. Toilets the old cistern on the wall above and you could hear everyone using the flusher, if you werent careful you could pull off the wall. Towels holey but changed everyday. If you are looking for basic accomodation and value for money in Tossa De Mar then the Hotel Marina Tosa was a lovely place to stay. Rooms very basic, but breakfast provided is good and there is a good pool and grounds. Its at the back of the resort, but its' only a ten minute walk to the beach. more

Just got back from a week staying in Tossa De Mar, firstly the area is so unspoilt, if you are looking for noisy bars, tat shops and burger joints you are better off going to Lloret De Mar.
