The hotel is perfectly OK to stay a few hours between flights. For the price you pay, you can’t ask for more. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. A hotel 7 miles away from the airport and in a different city doesn't really qualify as an airport hotel. The room was nice and breakfast was good, but getting there was a pain and they messed up on billing my credit card. more

I took my mother and her friends stay at this hotel on 29 Oct 2007 around 11pm. The staffs at the front desk are extremely rude and lie to us. They gave us a room has been used and told us there is no other room available. We either stay in this dirty room or leave without the money back.... more

Stayed at the Albatros both coming into and flying out of Frankfurt . Nothing fancy, but a good value for a basic hotel. Located about 20 mins by car south of the airport, on a quiet side street in a mixed residential/business area. Free street parking and airport shuttle available. This hotel is NOT 6km from the airport. The shortest route will take you 30 km and 20 minutes. A taxi ride costs almost 40€!
