This hotel has apparently rated themselves as a 4 star property. Based on the hideous, worn, dirty lobby and restaurant spaces, dark, florescent lit hallways with shabby carpet and rooms with equally awful decor, which clearly haven't been updated since the 50's, 2 stars would be generous. it's only positive attribute were the very pleasant, non-English speaking, staff at the... more

I was very surprised to read the Review from Trip Advisor Santa Barbara. The Olimpia is part of the Best Western Group of Hotels and as such has to conform to strict criteria, regarding its cleanliness, food standards and also the decor. The hotel hosts one restaurant which is located at the end of the lobby area and has windows...
