The resort of Garda is beautiful and the company we travelled with, Crystal, very good and helpful but the owner of the hotel spoiled our holiday by being very unpleasant. This is a lovely hotel with a great location, spotlessly clean, so its a great pity that it was let down by the breakfast and rather unfriendly atmosphere. The breakfast was basic to say the least - no fresh fruit, no toast and the same 2 cereals and 1 fruit juice every monring became a little boring for 10 days... more

A beautiful, mid-sized hotel with great facilities. Gargnano is a pretty little town with incredible views of Lake Garda and the mountains. As has been said before a small 18 room family run bed & breakfast hotel. Very clean and basic. It has a wonderful position almost on the lake, a short walk through the garden brings you inot a park and a further 20 yards and you are on the lake. Great little family run hotel. Very good deal from Crystal Holidays and didnt know what to expect but a super holiday at the Europa was had . I felt wary also but had no worries after all. The room was clean which is the most important thing we look for. We didn't have a balcony but with a 50 yard walk to the Lake front and 2 minutes to the village centre it was unimportant.
