Moderate Hotel – rooms good size, clean, tidy, everything worked. Breakfast reasonable – usual awful juice, moderate hot drinks, but nice rolls, yoghurts, some meat and cheese and a toaster. Large breakfast room downstairs gloomy in winter , but probably taken upstairs / outside in summer. Most of the place shut down for the winter, so not a true comparison.... more

What a charming hotel! Yes, the rooms are small (like most hotel rooms in Italy), but very clean and they make a wonderful cappuccino! It's on the main street heading east into the walled town of Castiglione Del Lago. The owners and staff definitely go out of their way to take care of you. Our one checked bag didn't arrive... more
