15th June 2008 - just returned a couple of days ago and are sad to be back. This hotel is a little gem - very clean, lovely friendly staff and had clean towels everyday! We have just returned from a one week stay at the Dom Manuel, Lagos, Portugal. A bit like Warmlake Pines!! O.K if you are 55+ you will feel at home. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel for adults only. The info in the hotel say's it's a 3 star & there were children there. Nowhere to get... more

we have just come back from the Dom Manuel in Lagos and thought it was wonderful, nice and quiet and very clean. The only drawback was not having anywhere to get anything to drink after breakfast unless you uprooted and went to a local bar, not something you always want to do when resting by the pool. Really nice hotel. Good size rooms which were very clean and cleaned EVERY day. We had surfboards with us, so the accessbility to the road where the car was parked was great. Nice outside terrace, good buffet breakfast and helpful staff. All in all, great value and very nice hotel. Recommended! more
