I'm really just echoing previous comments here. We loved Vila Petra, but the Strip would probably put us off returning to Albufeira. The usual Brit pubs and awful neon bars were ever-present, but we did find a friendly restaurant called Martinique at the top of the Strip. Just returned from a fantastic fortnight at the vila petra. A superb self catering aparthotel with a mirowave, dishwasher, dvd player and satelite tv in each room. we received maid service and clean towells/linen everyday.
