This hotel may very well be a mixed bag, depending on the when and the where factors. We were traveling in mid-September when the weather was on the cooler side; we were given the inner courtyard facing room - so we didn't have to go through what other people complained about. Bearing this in mind, the hotel is a decent... more

My friend and I have just returned from a long weekend in Brussells. First impressions of the Queen Anne were good, the reception area was clean and modern. Our fears were confirmed when we got into our room. Small, hot, noisy and very basic. Because of the heat we had the window open at night and you could hear people... more

Stayed three nights 3/4/5 August 2008 - Ideally located - arrived Brussels Airport and caught train direct to Brussels Nord - short walk from here. Reception staff were most helpful, produced a map and pointed out the main attractions for us without prompting. Hairdryers available to borrow from Reception. Centre of City was within easy walking distance. Free use of... more

I stayed for a week-end at Queen Anne. It is a basic hotel very, clean and confortable enough. Breakfast OK. Friendly staff. Exterior look of the hotel is quite desapointing, but who cares about exterior. Very good location in central area of Brussels. more

A basic hotel on a basic street just away from the hustle and bustle of Ste Catherine and Bourse but opposite the Theatre Nationale (which wasn't a problem during our 4 day stay). I didn't notice any Red Light activity to be honest - I think this tends to happen on the parallel street, Boulevard Adolphe Max Laan near Rogier... more

Friendly and very helpful staff, spotlessly clean room, brand new comfy bed, modern bath and shower, good basic breakfast and all 10 mins walk from all the main attractions. Our room was off the main road so we had a quiet time and were not disturbed by others at all. We wanted extra cushions and these were provided immediately/we wanted a... more

we reserved the room through the eurostar website when we bought our train tickets. I was a bit concerned reading the reviews, but I needen have been. Ok so the room wasn't the largest, but do you go to Brussels to spend time in the hotel room? I didn't think so. The room was quiet, without us even asking for... more

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel, and by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The description neglects to mention the hotel is in the RLD and that there are transexual prostitues on that street. That part of town was full of drunk vagrants and trouble makers. Police don't seem to care! STAY AWAY! more

I can agree with some of the critical voices by earlier TripAdvisor evaluators. Queen Anne is a 2/2+ hotel, not three-star. Upon arrival I asked for a room on the quiet side. None was available, but the receptionist told that my seventh-floor room is normally quiet. What that word “normally” meant became obvious in the evening when the loudspeakers on... more
