Stayed there by accident, as I booked at the Bilderberg's other Amsterdam property (better location), but, because I am an idiot, I mistakenly booked starting the day before and they had given up our room. You can always take the trams to the core. Very safe area to roam around. A bit isolated (as you're literally in the 'suburbs'), though. Fantastic breakfast buffet, one of the best on our entire 3 week European trip. more

The exterior of the hotel is unimpressive. The location is pretty out of the way. However the staff are very helpful the interior is excellent and the rooms are very cosy and well appointed, perhaps a little dated. The staff at this hotel are amazing, the rooms are a step above the average, and the property well maintained. Need an umbrella? The front desk has those. There's no need to pack one.
