Located just outside the 'centro', the Villa Liberty is in a nice semi-residential (and a prosperous by all appearences) neighborhood near the fortress. It looks to be a retrofitted apartment building. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with adequate space. Reviews are all true that the front is noisy. Free parking nearby at stadium. Free parking at front of hotel had to be vacated friday night since Saturday 6-8 am is street cleaning. We stayed at this hotel in Sept '04. The rooms are very nice. The staff are very helpful and courteous, however the rooms at the front of the hotel are quite noisy.
