On our visits to Florence, three since 1998, we stay at the Hotel Hermes. It is located by the train station, the owner is fluent in English, Spanish, French and of course Italian. It is a very clean, very nice home-feel hotel, with a very good location, just across from the train station. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
