This hotel was great. The location couldn't be better, walking distance from all the sites, and in Florence that's a super bonus. You can see the Duomo from the bedroom window! The hotel was clean, lots of towels and supplies, a fridge and the AC worked just fine. The staff is very friendly, and always willing to help. We have... more

I knew from the beginning that this was a simple and basic hotel, and that is accurate in every respect. However, we spend so little time in our room that paying for 4-star luxury would be a waste of money. If you expect luxury, then this is not for you. But if very clean, well-maintained, friendly staff/owners, and comfortable are... more

We spent 3 nights at this wonderful 2-star hotel in Florence, Italy. We stayed in one of the rooms in the back and it was great. The room was always clean, everything worked (including the A/C!) well and the staff was always attentive and responsive. Breakfast was included and there is free access to the internet on their single computer... more

The elevator does work-ust pull the little door open after you push the button and wait. Don't climb the stairs with 2 heavy bags like we did because it is more than 2 floors, technically speaking. When we first walked into our room, the simplicity took a bit of getting used to but overall we had a fine stay. I... more

This hotel is barely a one-star. But location can't be better. It's 5 minute walk from everywhere in the historical city center. The hotel is very simple but clean, rooms are tiny and plain with no decor of any kind. In our room bathroom appliances were literally falling apart. Staff is friendly but most of them don't speak a word... more

This hotel was great. An incredible location, you walk outside and there is the Duomo. The staff was incredibly friendly and got to know you because you have to leave your key every time you leave. The air conditioning was not on so we had to open windows which was quite noisy. It was very clean. The hallway is quite... more

My cousin and I stayed here and loved it. The location was wonderful and the staff was great. The elevator was an added delight--small but functioning--especially with all our luggage. The room was a very nice and accommodating size with a private bath. There was even a hairdryer that worked. Our stay was very pleasant and I would very much... more

I have found my home in Florence. This is a great little hotel for a single female traveller. It is located within 5 doors (give or take 1) of the Duomo on the street parrallel to via Roma. Could seen the roof of the Duomo from my room. Great bed, hot water, great breakfast but only drawback was that the... more

The hotel is located maybe 100 feet from the Duomo. Our balcony had a drop-dead gorgeous view of the Duomo's facade. This hotel is in the middle of everything Florence has to offer; not more than a 15 minute walk from every attraction. I stayed in Florence a few years ago, near Piazza San Marino, which is about a 20... more

Hotel Costantini's location can't be beat; you're less than a block from the Duomo, and maybe a 10 minute walk to the train station. Our room (including the bath) was clean, the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English (which is good, because I only speak un poco del Italiano!) My fiance and I... more
