The best thing about Hotel Scoti is its location. Florence may be an easy city to wander around in but I still felt that being based on Via Tornabuoni and closer to the river rather than than near the train station was the way to go. good location, 10 mins walk to the train station. but the hotel is located at a quite terrible building (for me).....probably it's a historical building it's a only one-star hotel.....not a 3/4 star hotel that you may seen somewhere.... but the host is very friendly and the washroom is newly decorated... but the rate I think is not much worth.... more

The location was fantastic, very trendy area amongst very expensive shops. Loved the huge door to the building! We walked to all the sights easily, including the train station, which is how we arrived. Huge room and nice bathroom, all very clean and tidy. Lovely common-area sitting room. Lots of character.
