My party of 12 friends stayed at the Orto De Medici in March 2008. We found the hotel very quiet but still very close to the centre of Florence. My wife and I recently spent two nights there in March. The hotel had very nice amenities and the rooms were well kept. The morning breakfast was nice, even if it was only continental. The bathrooms were nice and spacious, the only problem being the lack of an enclosed shower area to prevent water from getting all over the floor.... more

We had a wonderful week's stay at this charming hotel. The service was first class, the room and bathroom were spacious and immaculately clean. The best part, however was the sun-lit , beautifully appointed breakfast room with, again, perfect service. We would definitely go back when we return to Florence. more

This charming boutique hotel is in a perfect location for experiencing Florence on foot. It is an inimate hotel with beautiful and comfortable old world rooms.
