I just recently returned from my trip to Italy with my husband and daughter. We stayed four nights on the Italian Riveria which was spectacular. Our hotel on the Riveria was wonderful and the best accommodations I've had to date until...we traveled to Cortona. Due to a last minute change in our plans, we contacted the Villa Marsili just one... more

Wow, this is a terrific hotel situately perfectly in Cortona! Can't wait to return. We are a family of four on our first trip to Italy, and we are unaminous in selecting the Villa Marsili as our favorite! of the many nice properties we stayed in. The hotel staff and the property are extremely well directed by Stefano. He, Iulia... more

Stayed here four nights in May, 2008. Great hotel , breakfast buffet, and absolutely wonderful staff. All were great -- Julia, Luana, Stefona, Mierka (we called him "Bear" because he was just so cuddly!) -- they were all attentive, helpful and treated us like one of the family. Best place we stayed in all of Italy! Highly recommend this hotel.... more

Villa Marsili was and is the best. We stayed there 5 days in May 2007 and 5 days in May of 2008. The view rooms are spectacular, overlooking the expansive, magical Tuscan landscape with Lake Tresimeno gleaming in the distance. My husband and I have stayed at Villi Marsili twice and hope to return again soon. We consider it our... more

Perfect location. Ideal for those people who prefer easy walking access to a small town and yet wish to see countryside. If you have front facing room, you see the beautiful countryside and yet behind you lies the town. Access to town is just a few mins walk up the hill. You do not feel like you are couped up... more

This is an excellent hotel! The staff are the best I have ever encountered from the cleaning staff to the hotel manager. They do everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are lovely and the hotel is very clean. The breakfast is great. The absolute best thing though is the staff. Shirley... more

All the reviews raved about this hotel and we agree completely. The staff became friends and they couldn't do enough for us. Breakfasts were the best, but the afternoon & evening wine and biscotti were wonderful too. Our room looked out over the Tuscan countryside. A glorious experience. more

From the moment of our arrival (actually before that when we were lost and kept calling Julia and Stefano at the desk for directions!) we were blown away by the beauty of the villa, but more so by the friendliness and welcoming attitudes of the staff!! Julia with her beautiful smile and Mierko who was so helpful with our huge... more

We just came back my husband and I from Cortona were we spent 10 wonderful days. We spent 9 nights at Hotel Marsili and what an experience! Stefano and his team did everything to make all the guests feel at a friend's home and not at a hotel. I would like to thank Stefano for making our stay one of... more
