Stayed in Sept 08 Good location, decent sized room, dowdy needs refurbishment. Noisy plumbing. Staff fine, breakfast adequate but would cost little to improve radically. Dont pay more than 100euro for double room ,80 would be adequate more

Very basic hotel. Clean bedrooms, good beds, nice clean en suite shower rooms. However rooms are on main street and noisy throughout the night. I wouldn't stay here again. more
We arrived at the hotel at 10am and despite it being a usual 2pm check in we only waited 20 minutes and our room was ready. We were allocated a huge family room with pool and sea views. Extremely spacious. The pool area is small but enough space because it never got crowded. The beach is located across the road... more
We booked through Just Sardina, having previously identified this hotel on the web, and they offered the best value for a week's B&B in August. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a good holiday there. We had rooms on the fourth floor which were quite small but very well appointed and everything you could want for the... more
I rated this hotel with a 3 rating but actually is more like 2. It is not that there is something terribly bad with the hotel just that it was very basic. To be honest I found some of the reception staff a bit unfriendly and not helpful at all. Basically if you do not ask you would never get... more
A good standard 3* hotel in a location which is just the road from the clean/pleasant beach and within walking distance of the Old Town. Spotlessly clean bed/bathroom linen and cold buffet breakfast which was perfectly adequate. We stayed in one of the third floor newly built rooms, superior/ seaview. The room, which was really quite huge, had a very... more
I have just returned from my third visit to Alghero. Travelled with two children aged 4 years and 16 months. We arrived at the hotel at around 11am and our room was ready for us to use immediately which was a bonus. The rooms were adequate and very spacious. We had room 109 on the first floor and almost at... more
We stayed on the 3rd floor in one of the new rooms, the room was nice and clean with good bathroom and air con, a bit on the cramped side but overall OK. One big point of contention would be the extremely load water system. This is loud enough to wake you early in the morning and late at night... more
We spent five nights here and thought it was very good value for money - except the bar prices. 9 euros for a gin and tonic! But this was our only moan - everything else about the hotel was excellent, as has already been said in previous reviews. more
Just back from a two week stay at the Soleado which I would say was in the main a pleasurable experience. The hotel has just had the 3rd and 4th floors added to it so these may be the rooms to go for on the basis that they are newer. I stayed on one on the 1st floor and it... more
