I can only agree with the fact that the location is simply superb. Lying in the sun while facing Capo caccia remains one of our best travel souvenirs. However the hotel is taking fully advantage of this by charging some incredible prices for food and drinks. Paying 16 Euros for a very small tomato mozzarella salad is getting a bit... more

This hotel lived up to its 5 star rating. Very quiet location, the road from Alghero ends at an ancient tower and small lighthouse and the hotel is located on the Bay of Nymphs with a spectacular view over the Bay to the Capo Caccia. Reception: We were upgraded upon arrival to a mini suite. The girl on reception was very helpful and walked us to our room. Room: The room was spotless with a beautiful view of the bay. The El Faro is in a beautiful situation - part of a National Park- and situated around a natural harbour.
