Interesting accommodation, the bedrooms and suites are very comfortable and well maintained (we could hear the freight trains during the night). Breakfast great, lunch choices a little lacking in imagination, a good selection of wine for dinner and knowledgeable helpful and pleasant staff. Benefitted from the hotel shuttle bus. Pool area a little small given the number of young children... more

I can't add very much to the previous reviewers comments except to say that I cannot fault this hotel in any manner! The service, food, rooms were all amazing, and it was the perfect way to spend the last few days of our honeymoon.. more

This hotel is a good distance from Verona, but runs shuttle busses to and from the opera, and is expert at booking restaurants near the opera. This is a beautiful and well appointed hotel, very avant-garde in decor, but it works! ( Shocking pink four poster bed ). more

A stunningly beautiful hotel that is really something very unique. The staff were both polite and helpful. The complimentary shuttle service works very well. The in-house restaurant is excellent. However for me i would still have two small criticisms. The lunch-time pool food menu is surprisingly unimaginative and the sun-beds are too closely packed together, which was not a problem... more

we have just returned from four day stay at villa amista byblos art hotel. Yes, the immediate reaction was rather different to the normal luxury hotel as the permanent art collection is modern to say the least. the staff were courteous, helpful from reception to restaurant to the pool area which is set in amazing gardens. the hotel has a... more

Great exteriors in an exceptional park (even by Italian standards). Interiors are brave and modern. Big and functional room (junior suite), very nice bathroom, but no view. Shuttle to Verona worked very well. Very nice staff in bar and restaurant. The restaurant is half outside, very comfortable. The food is good, but not fantastic. Excellent winelist. Nice breakfast. The pool... more

I stood with the Byblos Art Hotel jul 7th-10th 2008 on the occasion of a high-level event I organized in Verona. The hotel is some 15 km outside of Verona which guarantees perfect tranquility. It is the place to stay if you are seeking for the typical italien atmosphere. A classic fassade outside meets art inside. It is hard to... more

My daughter and I spent one night at the Byblos Art Hotel outside Verona and, after the crowds and bustle of Rome and Florence, it was a heavenly experience. The hotel occupies a beautiful 15th century villa, restored with great care and in a way that blends very well with the contemporary furnishing and art works. There appears to be... more

Beautiful place, beautiful service. Even in winter, this is a spectacular place to go. The rooms are very attractive if a bit outre in style but so pleasing and comfortable that even the occasional odd bit of art is not distracting. The food was great and the man in charge of the restaurant (Gianni) was fantastic....helpful and very friendly. The... more

We have just returned from a weekend in this wonderful hotel which certainly lived up to the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. Staff are very courteous and friendly . The decor and artwork are amazing throughout the hotel. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and very comfortable . We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and in the spa . If you are... more
