The hotel has been totally refurbished a few years ago and is stunning BUT it is REALLY ANNOYING when you are a same sex couple to be asked if you are really sure you wanted to book a double bedroom and not a twin. It was a perfect stay. The hotel is far from the crowded center, yet close enough to walk there. The restoration of this little palace was very tasteful.
