The hotel is down the alley in between the famous side by side cafes on San Marco Square- an unbelieveable location at haf the price of the deluxe hotels nearby. We visited venice at half term with our 8 year old. We arrived in the dark by water taxi dropping us as close as possible - but then we got lost! The location is amazing - just behind St Marks Square. it is really easy to get around with the water bus stop very close and we walked for hours.... more

We had a large suite on the 5th floor with a sitting room, bedroom and small kitchen. The location is very close the St. Marks and the staff was very helpful in arranging resturant reservations and advice on where to go.
