We found the Montecarlo just right for our needs. The standard rooms were small but very clean with plenty of storage space,the mini bar was reasonable by Venice standards. You couldn't ask to be better located. Some expansion on directions offered by others would be helpful though. If coming from Piazzale Roma, take the #82 Vaparetto to S. Zacchia.
