No question the property itself is beautiful. One would expect reception and service to be as golden as the cost of your visit there. Our vote after a 2 night stay? A wonderful warm hotel. You wind your way up a small road in the midsts of beautiful vineyards to arrive at a truly 5 star hotel. I will be quick: it was just fascinating. This early in the year, it is pretty difficult to find open hotels in Southern France or in Italy so I felt lucky when they said they were open all year round. If you love wine, food and tranqulity, it's the place to be. Excellent refurbished monastery in the wineyards of the Langhe, close to some of THE top wineries of Piemonte and the truffle "Mecca" Alba.
