We stayed at the Straf in May and had a really enjoyable time; the hotel itself is a boutique style hotel with minimalist design. Very dark interior, black walls, black doors in room. The hotel is in an extremely convenient location, literally a block away from the Duomo and the galleria. The rooms are ultra modern and simple with stark concrete walls and a copper bathroom. o.k, so in Milan terms this hotel is pretty cheap so I won't be too harsh! If you want a basic, central stay in a "hip" spot then this may be the place for you. The service at reception is fine, don't expect a turn down service or anything above and beyond though. The rooms are my bone of contention.... more
